Ainoa kotini
STAGE DESIGN
Ainoa kotini ”My Only Home" is a performance that intertwines dance, drama, and an extraordinary life story. Based on the acclaimed book by choreographer Hanna Brotherus, the narrative is brought to life through movement. The scenography symbolically captures the play's themes. The stage itself resembles an autopsy of a house, with distorted mirror surfaces reflecting the struggles of eating disorders. A 10-meter-long traditional rug symbolizes the unbroken chain of generations.
Premiered in 2024 in Oulu theatre big stage.
